It is cloudy with a chance of rain. I don't have to tell you that. It's been raining "Cats and Dogs." What does that statement actually mean?
Well, it's been raining a lot, and it's interrupted my schedule. No going out to play ball or chase the neighbor's dog up and down the fence line.
Be careful out there; I hear a possibility of flooding, and we do not want to see any of our friends, humans and animals, floating down the interstate. Remember, "Turn around, don't drown." Anyway, I don't want to make light of the situation; it can be serious business out there. Be safe.
I got all dressed up for my outing. I had to make sure it was still raining. It was a light sprinkle where I was, so off I went. Who might I encounter?
I ran into my neighbor friend; it's been a couple of days since I've seen him, since this rain keeps most of us dogs inside. I was so excited, I jumped on my hind legs and hollered like any dog would. Right, or is it just Miniature Schnauzers that can't control their emotions?
It was a nice, cool morning and good for a walk, even with the possibility of more rain pouring down from the Heavens. I love the fresh smell rain makes; it is as if Heaven's tears are washing away the dirt. Hopefully this is the beginning of fall-like weather and a beautiful weekend.
Have a good rainy day; stay safe. Be good little critters (humans and canines), but have a little fun too.
Pistol Pete signing off, back to you, friend.
