It is my birthday. I am 2 years old today.
First, my Master dressed me up in a silly hat and bandana. I look pretty classy, I think. I posed and had my picture taken multiple times until I was satisfied. Thank goodness I then got to take off the outfit for my walk.
Fall has finally arrived, and the wind is blowing hard. We took our walk, and I forgot about the wind. I hopped on my back legs as we went down the road. I barked at whoever I saw, dog or human. I saw a little human, no taller than me when I am on my hind legs, with their Master (I think). They thought I was cute, and I saw a little Yorkie dog whose Master gave me a nasty look as I yapped and tried to run up to greet them. I was just excited. I am still learning my social skills. I didn't see the usual walkers, like Oliver the lab, and his Master. Guess they couldn't handle the wind.
After the walk, my Master made a strawberry smoothie. She put plain nonfat yogurt, almond milk, frozen strawberries, ground flaxseed, cinnamon, and honey. Blended it all together with some crushed ice. She says it is healthy for the liver. I don't know about that, but I think it tasted pretty good and made a good birthday treat.
Then we went out and played ball. The wind was still blowing strongly. It was fun chasing the ball and leaves blowing all around me. The wind made it feel like I might fly. Now I take my afternoon nap. Life is good.
Well, it has been a pretty good 2nd Birthday. Have a Happy Day and enjoy the cool temperatures and the wind. Be safe out there.
